2019 Pine Brook Junior Amateur
Golf League
Play More • Have Fun • Improve
2nd Season at Pine Brook!
The Pine Brook Junior Amateur League is now open for registration for the 2nd season!
This league, designed for golfers in either junior high or high school, is a great way to play more golf, have fun and improve. The league will be handicap based so players of all skill levels are welcome to join. We will host the league on Monday afternoons starting at 1:00 p.m. The league will consist of 8 weeks (6 weeks of regular season play and 2 weeks of playoffs). What better way to stay conditioned for the high school golf season than some competitive golf in the summer?
League play will start on June 10th and go until July 29th. The league fee is $150 per player. This fee covers an Unlimited Range Pass at Mallard Creek and Dragon Ranch ($175 value), your greens fees for all 8 weeks, handicap tracking, prizes, and the general management of the league. Once your league fee is paid you are free to use the driving range at both facilities.
For more league information, you can reach out to Director of Golf, Sean Moennich at (440) 748-2939 or click here to message Sean

Each player will golf 9-holes each Monday using stroke play scoring. Every player’s individual league handicap will factor into their net score, which will be used to determined the weekly points awarded depending on where they finish in relation to the field.
Players will be going head-to-head against the entire league instead of having a different opponent each week. Players will earn points based on the position they finish for the week. For example, if you finish with the lowest net score on a certain week, you will be the first-place finisher and receive the highest possible points for that week. On the other hand, if you finish with the highest net score on a certain week, you will be the last-place finisher and will receive the lowest possible points for that week.
Your total points will be added up throughout the season. The ultimate goal is to have the most total points at the end of the season.
Points will be distributed based on how a player finishes each week in relation to the field. Each week will consist of a pool of 260 points.
In the case of a tie, point totals are added together and divided among all golfers tied for a particular position at the end of the round. For example: if four golfers finish tied for fifth place, the fifth through eighth place points are summed and divided by four, with each of the golfers receiving the same number of points.

We will crown a Regular Season Champion. The winner will be determined by the most amounts of points accumulated during regular season play. We will also give away prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
Please use your first name and last names on all scorecards. All cards must be turned into the active manager in the clubhouse at the end of each round. Handicaps will be managed through our league manager software and the maximum handicap a player can have is +18 for 9 holes.
If you are not able to make it on a particular week, please notify Sean and schedule a time to make up your round. The make up round must be attested by another player and played within two weeks of scheduled week. If a week is rained out we will make it up at the end of the season.
The playoffs will be a two week tournament. We will play 18 holes each week and lowest combined score for the two weeks will be the champion. We will also have prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
