Outings are welcome to bring their own food or caterer and have access to our large scale pavilion.
Available Outing Formats
There are a few options for formating your golf outing here at Pine Brook Golf Club. We are more than happy to assist in helping you choose a format that best fits your group.
One Tee Start
The One Tee start can be hosted for 12 or more golfers. Every 4-some is designated a tee time and everyone tees off from the first hole and follows in order.
Monday – Thursday Shotgun Starts (Morning):
Any outing requesting a shotgun format must meet a minimum of 72 paid players, Monday-Thursday. Monday-Thursday shotgun outings will take place at 8 am or 9 am and no later.
Friday – Sunday Shotgun Starts:
Any outing requesting a shotgun for a weekend outing will require a minimum of 100 paid players. Our shotgun outing times offered in the morning are either 8 or 9 am. We can also offer a 2 pm start for those outings that would like to get started in the afternoon.
If the outing is unable to reach their shotgun goal, they have two options. They can pay in full for the minimum number of golfers. With this option, you will be issued gift certificates for those golfers paid for that didn’t actually play. The next option would be to scale back to a one tee start based on the number of players that you have signed up.
At Pine Brook you are only required to pay the price per golfer. So whether you have 20 or 120 players our rate is consistent for all groups, large or small. There is no deposit necessary and you can change your outing format up to two weeks in advance.
Historically, scoring is a responsibility that is taken care of by the outing coordinator and their volunteers. A scorekeeper can be provided upon request for an additional $30.00 charge. We will do our best to help if you have any questions but we generally leave scoring up to you.
The course must be provided with foursome names no later than noon the day before the outing. We do this so that we can prepare any necessary documents, tee times, or cart signage that might be applicable to your day here at Pine Brook.
Use of the pavilions is FREE of charge. Our pavilion area has seating for up to 200 people.
We give all of our outings the option to shop around for their own caterers. This works out very well if you are running a charity group or fundraiser because you can pick whatever food that might fit your budget. You are also allowed to cook on your own. Grills must be provided by caterers or the outing. Ask about our list of suggested caterers.
We would be happy to cook lunch for your outing at the turn. We can provide a hot dog/sausage, snack (bag of chips, snack, candy bar), and a drink (beer, pop, water) for a negotiated price. Let us know if you would like us to take care of your lunch menu and we’ll be glad to talk pricing with you.
Due to Ohio Liquior laws the sale and distribution of all alcohol on premises must be purchased and distributed by Pine Brook GC. Outings are permitted to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages to the pavilion, excluding glass bottles. Golfers are able to stock up on beverages at the pavilion. Beverage carts are available upon request. All beverage carts will be on a cash bar basis and purchases will be run through Mallard Creek. Special pricing, including beer tickets and a running tab, can be negotiated. Ask for our beer list and pricing.
½ keg of domestic beer i.e. Miller Lite, Budweiser, Coors Light = $150.00
1 case of domestic beer (24) 12 oz beers = $24.00
Pine Brook will put out all hole sponsor and contest signs on the appropriate tee boxes. Contest signs (long drive, closest to the pin, ect.) will be provided by the course. Witnesses for the hole in one contest must be provided by the outing.
The outing is responsible for staffing registration. We prefer that all registration takes place in the pavilion or patio areas.
Speed of Play:
The required pace for an outing is 15 minutes per hole. If a group cannot see the group in front of them then they have fallen behind and will be asked to pick up the pace. If they are unable to keep up they will be asked to move on to the next hole.
Our dress code is pretty easy. We are a soft spike facility so please leave your metal cleats at home. We ask that golfers don’t wear tank tops or cutoff shirts. Other than that, come as you are and have a great time!
The final number of players must be confirmed 48 hours prior to the event. This is the number you will be responsible for the day of the outing.
In the event of weather prohibiting play, rainchecks will be issued for all players in the outing. If the outing is able to reschedule a rain date and the course has availability, the outing has the option to cancel.
An outing can be cancelled if the course is notified 14 days in advance of contract date. If outing cancels less than 14 days before contract date, 25% of the total bill will be invoiced to your group.
Payment is due on the day of the outing.
*It is the responsibility of the person signing our contract to inform all participants of the outing rules and regulations.
